There is the matter of a good training session against Brum on Saturday too, which I would like to see us use to restore confidence, we cannot afford to lose any more games, as Leon has already stated that the dressing room is down! Lets kick some Brumy butt for Bodde on Saturday........................
Will add West Brom, Norwich, Hull and Villa later.... Question is (Swanselona ahead of me here!) how many points do you predict for each team from this set of fixtures...and where do you estimate this will leave us in the table? Put your money where your mouth is
Right to include the new teams Swansea = 11 Cardiff = 7 Sunderland = 5 West Ham = 5 Fulham = 2 Palace = 4 Stoke = 2 Will add the others when you add them
Oh my, Stoke's run in is a bit of a turkey! Of all the teams, we have the least 'top 8' games. You have to think we would be targeting a haul of points over the next few.
I think you're being too kind to Cardiff and think Sunderland will get 6+ because they have been in good form. Stoke do look to have a difficult run and I predict Fulham to pick some points up. For us be happy at 11+ but I think the minimum should be 9 and we'd achieve that IMO.
Swansea = 7 Cardiff = 8 Sunderland = 7 West Ham = 5 Fulham = 1 Palace = 4 Stoke = 1 wba = 6 Norwich = 5 Hull = 5 villa = 8
Swansea - 11 Cardiff - 5 Sunderland - 6 West Ham - 4 Fulham - 3 Crystal Palace - 4 Stoke - 3 West Brom - 5 Norwich - 6 Hull - 6 Aston Villa - 8 I've got us in about 11th place jostling with Villa and Hull. I've got Fulham and West Ham joint bottom, Cardiff in the third relegation spot chasing Sunderland, Palace and Stoke going into the last 10 games. If this scenario bore any resemblance to reality we'd have a 9 point cushion with 10 games to go. I think it's going to take a low total to stay up this year...I'd guess between 36-38 points. ....but of course absolutely anything can happen. Not counting chickens just confident we'll be alright.
3 games into the 2nd half of the season and we've played both Manchester teams and the Spurs , can 't imagine anyone having a better 16 games left .
Palace play like a different team these days, I expect them get the most out of the teams on the list.
Swansea - 11 Hull - 6 Aston Villa - 6 Cardiff - 5 Sunderland - 5 West Ham - 5 Fulham - 5 Crystal Palace - 5 West Brom - 5 Norwich - 5 Stoke - 3 I haven't thought this through too thoroughly and it looks like I may have a railing spike up my arse but it's so crazily close in the bottom half that we could well be the main beneficiaries and be in 10th spot after these games.
I have us to get 11 points from these games, but even allowing for a slip up we should at the very minimum look to get 9 points. I can't see anyone else getting that, and suspect at least two teams will only manage 3/4 points, and the rest getting only a maximum of 6/7. So whilst nothing is ever certain, I am fairly confident also that we will be in a much stronger position, and actually get to 10th/ 11th in table by season's end. I also agree that it may be a fairly low points total to survive 36/37 points, and we should be ok to get minimum of 40 (I suspect we will finish on 44/46 points)
well i can only go on results this season and iv given us a generous amount in the hope that we will improve. If we carry on as we are then we will be lucky to get 4 points.....I have very little confidence that ML can turn it around to be honest or he would have done it well before now when you listen to him after every game when we have not got a result....I hope to god he changes something...
this is on topic stop stirring, i have told you nicely or do you want to get the super mods involved ..get a grip of your self...
