    Until the 3rd May.

Good luck to him, hope he finds his scoring boots for them.

Happy about that. Who knows he may find his scoring boots and return a prolific striker!

Good luck to him, I guess he will be out to prove SB wrong, which is Barnsley gain.

Which strikers will we use at Southend?
Only Fryatt and Sagbo, plus the youngsters left.

We have Matthew Fletcher, who will probably play up front with Fryatt.

Interesting. I can see him scoring the odd one but still being a failure overall for the same reasons he's been a failure for us. It doesn't seem like one of those where he just needs a new start. He simply doesn't have the heart for English football and I can't see that changing any time soon, though I hope I'm wrong.

In a minutes to goal ratio Im guessing he's already a pretty prolific striker.

Statistics can be used and manipulated to back up anyone's point. I'm talking pure hard goals per games!

Agree especially at a team bottom of the league

Hope he churns out 10 goals + and keeps them up though

Struggled for us in the championship last year so can't see how he will be prolific for a struggling Barnsley team this season. All the best to him, though - hopefully he can earn himself a permanent move there in the summer.

But that's the point, how many full 'pure hard games' has he played?

I dont know why people have a go at him for that. Surely we can all accept he wont have miraculously changed as a player after we signed him and he didnt go from an all action Big Billy lead the line type to a powder puff yet skillful deep lying forward. So surely any blame in signing such a frustrating player must go down to our manager. If Bruce did his work he MUST have known the type of player we were getting.

Good luck to him - no doubt about it, he is a good finisher and clearly wants to succeed. I'm firmly in the "hope he starts to hit the target regularly and returns to CIty with new confidence" school of thought.
