Best Young player.. behave.. That award goes to Barkley... I'd nab him off the blues if they'd ever sell/he'd want to come.
He might get better. The only thing for sure is that right now he isn't doing a lot. Luke Shaw is the best performing youngster (18) in the league.
makes you wonder if he would get the same amount of hype if he played for us lol. BBC SALFORD *cough* good player in the making no doubt, but we have all thought the same when Sterling first came on the scene, and it sounds like he has more of an attitude problem than Sterling.
It doesnt. Early days but januzaj is clearly the most talented of the 3. Januzaj Barkley Someone else
I disagree, Januzai has been one of Man Utd's better players this season which speaks volumes of one of two things. either he is good enough to stand out over some very good players or Man Utd are that poor they're relying on a eighteen year old. Personally, I think its a little of both. I said "one of the best", not "the best". that belongs to Ross barkley IMO but Luke Shaw is a great shout.
As Gerrez pointed out, Januzaj is in his first season. The others have all played games before hand. Barkley not so many but hes still had game time. None of these players are carrying a club like United either at 18 years of age. The last time a player showed this much ability at such a young age he went on to become the best player in the world. Even then, Ronald looked nowhere near as good as Januzaj looks so far. Dont get me wrong, theres still stuff he needs to learn. When to pass at times, to not keep the ball for so long and to stay on his feet. He needs to bulk up as well as hes easily knocked about.
I think there is some biasedness going off here. Januzai is good with both feet, can pass, shoot, works hard (for a flair player), has decent pace and can cross a ball (open play or set-piece). He is in his first professional season has a eighteen year old at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Yeah, its the bias BBC overhyping him
Luke shaw is the most consistent of the 3. He's played one and half years of prem football without a dip in form, impressive.
We'll have to agree to disagree.. On purely stats basis (and if I were wearing glasses tinted by my own team) I'd put Sterling in there, scored and assisted more than your boy wonder?
Good point well made.. he won't be at Southampton much longer, he'd answer our LB issues for sure be he's most likely off to City, Chelsea or United.. #shame
don't remember the fuss being made about the potential of Sterling when we was in 6th place in the league. obviously cant be that good if they need to spend £40 mill on another attacking player.
There was a massive fuss over Sterling at the start of last season (when he was last in form) ending with a England call up!
