Technically we have 6 now we have Phillips in but it doesn't matter as his words are not for us - he is trying to get the QPR owners to open their purse strings even more.
So basically hes saying our strikers are playing better than their strikers ... Would he have bought an inexperienced Vardy, would he f**k, hes only ever bought tried and tested players like Austin, and if he'd had it his way, he'd buy Rhodes in a flash.
I'm getting a bit sick of Redknapp's pathetic claims that our squad is bigger than theirs and they're the underdogs. He's done a very underwhelming job at QPR- you need lots of strikers in this league because the big ugly defenders tend to cripple them sometime around January- eg. Matty Fryatt a few years back. We should be complaining about the number of midfielders he has wanting a payout. It's not our problem he hasn't used his wads of cash to balance his squad properly- Redknapp's probably got enough cash to buy a couple himself- or at least his dog does...
Dont read to much into it boys, he's just angling for more cash. Agree your strikers have been better than ours, but not so long ago Burnleys were miles ahead. Harry shot himself in the foot. he played an unknown Hitchcock in last minutes of a game, in an attempt to show Tf how threadbare were were. Problem was Hitch scored the winner after being on 3 minuts!! Made Harry look (even more) stupid, so he's out on loan for the rest of the season now...! Well played Harry !!
That's if we had any. We've only had one fit striker all season and a few weeks ago he was injured an' all. The reason? Harry Redknapp decided to start the season with Bobby "Crock" Zamora and Andy "Sick-note" Johnson. Oh and Austin who had a dislocated shoulder at the time too. So don't fall for any 'Arry moaning and bullsh*t, he's the one who inexcusably thought we'd be fine in the striker department with that pair of Donkeys and one good player. If he don't bring a forward in in the next few days you boys need not worry 'cos you'll walk the league. Its all down to if he can get a goalscorer in and the clock is ticking down.
