Can we put a poll up for who the altercation was with?

    Boruc would storm it!

Whatever happened on the touchlines against Newcastle was one thing but that's twice in quick succession that his antics have cost us with needless suspensions. Disappointing.

Have we had a ban of this nature on recent memory?

Boruc was probably suspended for the water bottle incident - I don't remember for sure, but he was dropped for a while.

Yes he was, while an "investigation" was carried out.

Will be 8 league games by the time he completes this suspension (last game was against Newcastle). Assuming he hasn't done anything else.

Time to get rid? Clubs circulating in Italy means we should make our money back

Will be 6 in all competitions I think (including the 3 he'll miss in the next two weeks), we all knew he was hot headed but had the class on the pitch to score goals. Thought all of this would have been put behind him with a fresh start etc. Just when we need as many players as possible on the pitch, we lose yet another First Teamer. Disappointed to say the least.

Oh lordy. I know he has past form but I assumed Mauricio knew how to handle him having worked with him in the past.

In the voice of Dave Merrington "What you don't want to do now is lose your new striker just when he's coming back from FA suspension"

He wears glasses, so may be he thought the tree was a team mate who wasn't responding. It must be the tree thing.

In a world cup year we have a lot of leverage over him. I would tell him to buck his ideas up and apply himself like he never has before or he'll be left to rot in the reserves and can kiss goodbye to his world cup hopes.

Pochettino will probably be more sympathetic though I suppose.

He had never really proven himself on the pitch (apart from that goal) in my opinion. You have to give the player some benefit of the doubt due to apadapting to style of play and the english game. We knew about his temper when we signed him that has come across in some of the games he has played and his problems at Roma. The farcical at Newcastle was ridiculous, he should have never got involved.

Now this on the training ground. Yes of course players have bust ups during training it happens but usually dealt with swiftly and move on but for the club to suspend him for 2 weeks must have been something more serious. I wouldn't be bothered if we cut our losses and sold him this window.

I'll need some if he carries on like this.
