What's the album like Dan? I forgot all about it coming out. Is it from his archive or is it new songs?
New songs moses - I really like it but the he could probably fart for 45 minutes and i'd claim it was excellent .
Prefab Sprout - one of those bands who didn't have any big hit singles, spent most of their career way outside of the charts yet seem to have a loyal fanbase. What am I missing?
My sister or her boyfriend had this 12",I'll pay money for this record
Get Smashed by The Hextalls
neil youngs chrome dreams - this is not quite the version Ive got but the closest I could find. Lots of familiar tracks which reappeared elsewhere, fine version of Powderfinger. Neil was persuaded not to release this album by his record company at the time ... although his long trusted producer and side-kick david briggs said this is what he should go with stars and bars came out instead a while later ... booker t + drive by truckers, potato hole the bold neil appears on the last track of the album. the drive by truckers play live with their instruments tuned down a half tone. Patterson Hood told me that.
Mojave 3 - puzzles like you. Less patchy than their previous offerings I think. Was listening to it today, this you tube comp of the album has a couple of tracks missing/not working
I may stop these little music monologues, they are perhaps getting a bit Batemanesque please log in to view this image
OK, I`ll put him up then. Teach him a few chords maybe Wouldnt surprise me if he did the Byron Bay Bluesfest, which is pretty huge and fairly handy for me ... only trouble is it`s outdoors which just isnt right for music if you ask me, Great Northern Hotel ( also in Byron Bay would be ideal ) cheers, will keep a lookout
