Barkley, Shaw and Salah would be good!! Then offload Torres and Eto'o for Costa. (a man can dream!!!)
Shaw, Zouma, Matic, Salah and a striker in with Essien, Bertrand, Mata, De Bruyne and Ba leaving would not be bad business at all
Would swapping those players really improve our squad though? personally not sure but agree with the positions youve highlighted we NEED to strengthen now
When was the last time Jose bought an 18 and played him on a constant basis? That is why, you have no chance of signing Shaw. He won't buy into your loan school.......& that makes me and the football fraternity very happy indeed.
Know him personally do you? As a fellow Chelsea fan, I'm sure he'd jump at the chance at playing for his boyhood club an replacing a current aging club legend.
What on earth are you going on about? My point is that Shaw is at a perfect age and ability to replace Cole, not be shipped out on loan as you suggested with rapier like wit.
Barkley and Shaw are a couple of years from being 1st team choices, and Salah unproven, but looks ready. They might all be in the Team in 2 or 3 seasons, though our record with young inexperienced players suggest more likely to be sold or out on loan. In the short term we need an experienced proven midfield conductor, a fast strong CD and Lukaku back, plus another proper striker. We also need Courtois back as at least equal 1st choice with Cech, as Schwartzer will not be here next year. We have youngsters currently on loan who many would argue are the equal of Shaw and Barkley, and at least as ready.
You get the feeling that Jose doesn't really get on with Lukaka either, hope no t but I would not be at all surprised if he was also shipped out in the summer.
EB--if that is true then there's more big bucks heading our way! We , really should be focusing on a quality young(ish) striker who has had Euro experience!
