At the end of the day none of this matters we cant change the decisions made by the powers that be, disputing them wont change anything either it will just create more unrest.
It's our duty to support the team and whoever pulls on the strip come the first game in August will be backed 110%

NOLAN HAD THE CHANCE TO STAY!!! everyone is always too quick to jump on Ashleys back on things like this. Had he wanted to stay he could have signed the 2 year deal he was offered. How on earth would anyone offer a player his age a 5 year deal. please please catch a grip everyone. Ruthlessness is needed if we are to progress. I thought we all agreed we didnt want to be a retirement home for old footballers. Where would Nolan play?? support striker? no Ben Arfa will. CM?? no Tiote and Wayaye Cabaye in there. on the wing?? no Gutierrez and Barnetta hopefully. Theres simply no room for Nolan and Barton now. Sorry to say it, no love lost an all, but its time to move on.

Newcastle fans just cant take CHANGE. Just because a player does well for us doesnt mean they should stay here forever. We need squad rotation transfer wise. That way its not a case of if you dont play your on the bench, its a case of if you dont play. YOUR OUT!

 

I really don't know what to make of this. Just a bunch of thoughts.

1). Ashley IS a massive ****. Him and the entire board should just keep the **** away from the buying/selling/team decision making. They've already cocked it up and got us relegated, but it seems as if they haven't learned, and it seems as if they don't even recognise how important the team spirit has been. I wish they would leave so much.

2). We've lost our captain and top scorer. If we kept him and added with more quality CM's, then it's a step forward. However, selling him and then adding CM's just seems like we aren't moving in any direction.

3). If it's true that Nolan is on 40k per week and was offered 2 years, but declined, then I have no idea what he's playing at. He's the captain and he's always seemed so proud of the club, yet he's agreed to sign up with West Ham, IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP, with two years remaining here. I don't get it at all?! Either the behind the scenes at the club really are THAT intolerable for players, or Nolan isn't the player and man we thought he was.

4). West Ham are in the Championship, yet they're forking out £5mill and 50k per week wages for new players. Haven't they learned after being relegated with a team full of players on big wages? It's a colossal sum of money for a CCC club.

5). I was never THAT bothered about Nolan, and I've always said that to improve, he would have to be replaced with someone in the first team. However, I'm very disappointed now he seems to be on his way. It isn't so much the CM ability, it's much more about the team spirit and unity. The squad which has bonded together well after taking us up through the Championship and back into the Premier League is slowly falling to bits.

6). Selling our captain and top scorer is going to send out really bad messages to potential signings and existing players like Jose.

7). If this has been done against Pardew's will, I wonder what he'll have to say about it...

 

Absolutely ****ing ridiculous decision, but I can't believe he's willing to drop a division!?

 

He doesnt need to be replaced...we have caybe who is better, apart from goals nolans contribution is terrible
