it seems to be having a deep effect on you. how is he destroying their fans and their records and their sponsors? how do you feel about it? how do you feel about the fact that moyes can't pick rooney or van persie, his two most likely scorers? which manager took all that useless shower to old trafford? why would "sir alex" buy such useless players as rafael and smalling? is it bad of moyes to keep selecting dodgy players that "sir alex" bought? why would anyone on the man utd board sanction the purchase of the odious fellaini? do you really think man u are going to sack moyes now that the only realistic options to take over are back at chelsea and bayern? does any of this matter to you? go an have a reefer in the garden and sniff some roses. man.

Still don't get some of the over the top celebrations by non Man utd fans, don't get me wrong i wanted Sunderland, but the jealousy of some is ridiculous.

Because people like to laugh in the face of their support, which is seemingly glory hunting and is composed, in the main, of people who have never been anywhere near Manchester.

Of course they do have a fanbase of loyal fans who are properly United through and through, but they are way outnumbered sadly.

By the way, I personally don't hate Man Utd. I very much dislike them, but hate is reserved for rivals.

I haven't read a single post on this thread cos I can't be arsed so apologies if this is already covered, but tonight's result is ****ing brilliant for us. I've never been more sure that Sunlan will now be one of the bottom 3.

Mata is just what they need, Fellaini was excellent for Everton but Moyes' style is defensive & that will never rub at the theatre of broken dreams

I think he's referring to Sunderland itself rather than the club.

You will look for anything to criticise, won't yer G?

He meant the place, not the club.

Indeed I was. Actually, some lists show Sunderland's population as larger than Hull's but we all know that things would be different if the population of Hull was measured the same way as other cities.

It doesn't have a deep effect on me but I am astounded by the passiveness of the club. I'm not a fan of Moyes and I think he's currently the luckiest ****ing guy alive.
Un-****ing-sackable. It feels so surreal and I'm sick of hearing about him.

I tell you what, if Sunderland were to go down and us stay up, I'd wouldn't mind us going for Bardsley based on form this season...

it was always going to be a season of, for want of a better word, consolidation. he has been second in line for years. didn't af recommend him personally? they're not going to sack him this soon, it'd be an admission of failure. look how long it took ferguson to win something. he's always going to get talked about. he's manager of one of the world's biggest clubs.

All recent lists I have seen show Sunderland's population is larger than the Hull population(between 25 and 40 thousand more). Where is a list that shows the reverse?

There is **** all to do in and around Sunderland, never has been, hence why everyone supports the Rokerites.

It depends on how much of the surrounding area is considered a part of Hull or Sunderland.

If you focus on the actual cities, Hull has a population of around 256,100 while Sunderland has 174,286.

If you include the 'Larger Urban Zone', Hull has around 573,300 while Sunderland has 335,000.

    (2011 UK Census)

Here is a list of the population of the urbanized areas (ie. the actual towns and cities) of the UK - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Primary_Urban_Areas_in_England_by_population
