I'm sitting here tears rolling down my face. The lads put up a great show and I was proud of them no matter what. To then take the penalties just left me overwhelmed. ****ing well done you overpaid bunch of ****ers.
Not far from tears mate, have that feeling of euphoria that feels like someone has attached some spark plugs to you and has them on pulse. ****ing buzzing.
I don't think I have managed to swallow since Hernadez scored. hahaha I feel like I did after the Charlron game back in the day. Elated and numb that time it was tinged with disappointment. But this time with Wembley looming, I'm glad no one else was here to watch me go through every emotion possible. Will my heart take any more of it?
That was an insane few minutes mind weren't it? Joy, turmoil, fear, joy. We all lost a couple months off the end of our lives for this. Worth it.
You're all right to lose a few months, me, the buggers could send to an early grave. Oh and if anyone is still moaning about Bardsley you can **** off the lot of you. He looked absolutely devastated when Hernandez scored in the last seconds. I wish we could give the rest of the team some of his empassioned blood.
Oh great, now you have got me singing with a hoarse voice and a lump in my throat. The neighbour will think I'm mental the racket I have been making.
Gotta agree on Bardo, to come back from where he was to once again become one of the main men is a credit. I honestly think he's the ONLY one in the squad that could have recovered from that.
I have just got home from a pub - I was the only Sunderland fan, dozens of Man U and half a dozen neutrals. I'm 43 and will be taking my 7 yr old to Wembley - does it get better? Not in my lifetime Haway the lads - **** penalties all round but can't say I care!!
On late rooms booking hotels lot of reasonable priced rooms in Docklands on the Saturday night if any of you lot want to join us
A couple of good saves from Mannone in there as well mate. I would have put Gardner first too. He saw De Gea going the right way and overcooked lifting the ball. Hahaha My hands are still shaking while typing I doubt very much I will come down enough to sleep until well into the am.
**** I'm still dazed! Had to stop in tonight to watch the match because of work tomorrow & sank the 8 cans I had in the fridge. Luckily though my mam only lives 2 mins walk away & her fridge has just been raided for 8 more, **** work!!! Garn in with a hang over !
Feeling exactly the same. Not for the players but for the fans who will now get to see the lads in a major final. I shed a tear after those Pens. ****ing class.
I have to be in court tomorrow morning - was going to tell magistrates my client v sorry (120mph in a 70!) now will tell them "do your worst - I am as happy as!" Can't believe it - top night - hangover in the post
Must be an old-age thing with the tears.....my youngest son,aged21,has just got back in from his girlfriend's house, and they all support Man.Utd....not my son, just his girlfriend and family, and caught me crying tears of joy watching Gus and the lads!!63 years old,and crying like I was 63 weeks old!Gerrin!!!!!
