Long live Moyes!

But seriously, Phil ****ing Jones. What a gormless, talentless penalty fluffer. Better value than Hendo my arse.

That game pretty much summed up that you don't need Mata, you need defenders and a new midfield.

I have to say i tuned into the game last night in extra time.

1. were utd seriously defending for pens cos it was only after De gea dropped a clanger that they showed anything for the utd of old. they instantly scored for which sunderland should be shot.

2. the pens... my god. I've heard of one or two awful shoot outs but that was the very worst one i've ever seen... de gea saved 2, one brilliantly but he's the villain cos he dropped the clanger. I have never seen a pen shoot out like it. the first sunderland take had the ball on the spot and was up there before the ref or de gea moved from centre circle.. ref made him respot it.. result miss.. i thought utd were surre to win then.

welbeck, JONES, RAFAEL, the child.. what the F was this about. was hernandez that injured he couldn't kick a ball. where was valencia.. where was cpatian evra... i dunno. letting an 18 year old miss like that.

both sides were awful...

Don't be so critical. It was a semi and they are not really renowned for generating good football. Given that both sides are poor they provided some good entertainment. It may not have been football as we like to see it but it was fun - with the right result for us!

Man Utd are just a #setpiece anti-football team now. Mata will help with that but he's still just one player.

#4937
18. No, they were defending for the win. Had it finished 2-2 on agg then Man Utd would have won on away goals <ok>

RM: “We hope Falcao injury won’t affect the decision to let Lacina go out on loan.”
