Maybe all along we've needed an international feel to our operation. Italian owner brings in Italian manager and some continental players instead of our obsession of loaning mainly hopeless Uk and Irish lads

I believe that McD also publicly backed the SC consortium the other day - probably packing his bags as we speak.

Reports of Cellino having bought #lufc are wide of mark but he has met with David Haigh & Andrew Flowers with regard to Sport Capital bid.

    Why?
He has cash and is selling a tiny club that he managed to get to and keep in serie A.

And his lifelong connection / allegiance / emotional investment in Leeds is? In 3 months you'll be wanting him gone.

You're not going to see anyone buy thee club with an emotional connection Davy. They're all in it to ultimately make money

It's all about what happens on the pitch. If he has the brass to get decent players and we play good football I will be happy. If he gets us up I couldn't care less if he eats newborn babies for Sunday lunch.

Sadly, it's not just about what happens on the pitch, and not between now and May for sure. The last thing we need is more disruption and volatility behind the scenes - 10 years is enough. Stability!

I understand what you're saying, but wouldn't you wait a little longer in the hope / expectation that a bigger fish may come along to give us not just stability but aspirations to win trophies.

But none of them do. It's all spin and bullshit to get fans to spend more money. Maybe he might have a different approach to building a promotion winning team because all attempts up to now have been non events by all previous owners. Can he be more useless than Risdale, bates and gfh

If it's one rich bloke rather than a consortium it's much nearer to the olde style club owner ala jack walker.
