30 years ago when I was trekking in the Himalaya's I came a cross a toilet built across a fast running stream on a bit of a slope - this sign on the door proudly stated that it was the first flushing toilet there! Not sure what the folk downstream felt about it!

True - I've still got a pair somewhere deep in the bowels of a packing case. Bought them when over here on holiday in the 70's, took them back to Oz with me and never wore them - far too hot in the tropics for long trousers.

Evening all from bandit country. All packed up and ready for an early start down to Heathrow for the long flight to LA. We are going to our friends sons wedding on Saturday, should be real fun. Going to miss the game on Saturday, but that might not be a bad thing. Morning all We have some sunshine! Not that's likely to last. Yesterday a lot of the lanes were still virtually streams. We have 6 large water butts but could probably have filled 20 in the last month!
