It's not burying your head in the sand to understand the limitations our squad has faced this season and to ignore or not even consider them IMO shows lack of understanding or patience.

I will reserve my opinions until after Feb to judge whether or not he is the right man for the job. 3 wins and our season will look a lot different

We all knew after the summer laudrup will go and hopefully the board will be able to find a suitable replacement.

Dragon just because someone agrees with you doesn't make them a real supporter! Everyone is entitled to have their own views whether they are the same as yours or not

Well, I love laudrup and we will regret the day he leaves, swimming against the tide with a small minded club is our Micky boy .

I agree Norway, lovely man and very dignified, but still on a learning curve and maybe better off at a big club, but lets hope he can get us back to winning ways, because that's all I'm concerned with, Managers are like players, they come and they go!............<ok>

So you think that Michael Laudrup is fit for only a "few" League One sides or MAYBE a Championship team. This despite finishing in our highest ever Premier League position last year and winning our first major trophy ever. This despite tuning Valencia 3-0 on their own ground when we were able to play something like our STRONGEST team. This despite the fact that he brought us Michu for £2 million, Pozuelo for 500k, Amat for £2 million, Chico for about the same, Canas on a free when probably not one of those players would have given us a second look if Laudrup hadn't been our manager.

I'm sorry, I really can't take your opinions seriously and won't bother dignifying your posts with a reply in the future. I don't think that I've ever read anything quite as stupid in my entire time on forums. Free speech is all well and good but there are limits. In my opinion, your posts are a waste of space.

Every manager in the game is on a learning curve. The basic problem with laudrup and Sousa before him is that neither is a fan of media people or kissing ass to players that have a fraction of their ability but the attitude of superstars something that both laudrup and Sousa were.

Michu is a good example of somebody who has all the ability but is humble and interested in learning even more from the coach than he knows now, I get the feeling that the Brits amongst our team like to have the ego stroked massively ala brenden and Bobby style, it's not then hard to see why top level people like laudrup and Sousa get negative press about them.

As for coaching the players, well we at Swansea must play a certain way, that is written into our DNA and every manager must stick to it ,as laid down by huw and the board,so I wonder just how much laudrup can do different anyway.

The problem is that the longer we stay in that league the easier we will be to counter and match in terms of style
    of play etc,etc .

The only way around that is to get better quality to play in the same systems, well we ain't got the cash to do that either ! We caught so many teams out with our keep ball over the last 2 yrs that even the big teams must bring the A game to us or risk getting beaten, the mind set has changed, not by us ,but by every other team in the prem league !

Moyes said the same thing a few weeks back, so we are now in a situation where we are trying to improve by still buying players in the bargain basement, sure we will get the odd one who works out but eventually we will stand still and get overtaken, that's a harsh reality of being the smallest club in the prem league.

Why people assume laudrup should be some mastermind coach who takes a team with the lowest playing budget to massive heights season after season I've no idea!

We have lost the surprise element with our playing style but we can't evolve any further with it unless you buy the next level of player and improve the class of the spine of the team.

People are actually expecting us to maintain unrealistic levels of performance for what we have on the field, laudrup was bang on when he said we are in another league , it's just being realistic, there is nothing wrong with his words but there seems to be plenty wrong with some people's expectations of us in this league.

If we don't rate laudrup ,the players he brought into us for peanuts and the league cup win then I really fear for the next bloke!

Let's wait and see where we are in a few games time before we start slating one of the best managers we have ever had , its a dogfight now and it's because of a freak injury list and Europa league not because laudrup isn't good at what he does, let's keep it real folks at least for another few weeks where we can then judge the situation more clear ;)

What is a waste dai? were in the knock out stage of the Europa league! The furthest we've ever been, and there is loads of time to stl finish in a commendable position.

Yea I understand that you have your view, but I find funny how when a spurs fan comes on and says what some of us are saying about laudrup, you agree with him??? But disagree till your blue in the face with us. To me it's like you have selected hearing/reading. But when I say your overreacting just look at the other 10 team boards that are around us, you won't see every thread bashing the manager which is happening on this one.

While I understand most of what your getting at Norway, with opposition teams having to raise their standards as to possession and passing, and indeed most clubs are now taking this seriously, and surely that is good for the game, who wants to watch hoofball? But you cannot put all our performances and results down to that. In my view we have been the architects of our own downfall of late, not only with selection, but fitness and individual performances have been well below par. Basic stuff like getting the right midfield general, which we still have not got since Bodde, missing the Borini Transfer, not managing Ki right, not managing Graham right, not calling back Ki from Sunderland, conflicting media statements from Boardroom and Manager, have all shown that we are not pulling together, and I will reflect back on this season in time to come, much like the Sousa season. A season to forget so far, but not over yet, there is still time for everyone to pull together and salvage things, but will we do it, yes getting players back will be a great boost, but we have lost our style somewhat this season, and after Laudrup has gone, we need to resurrect it, as it will get us back on track to doing what we know we can do. When we get back to our previous style, we can progress with the odd one or two top players, anyway isn't Michu and Bony that anyway? The game plan is the issue, too negative too narrow...........<ok>

Yes true but they do not berate the other view, all I'm doing is what you are doing, simply putting the shoe on the other foot, that's all, and you are right to protest, shame we cannot have a view without being considered a heretic against the Jack cause! Just with me, if it's good for the goose it's good for the gander!...............<ok>
