Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were both groundbreaking works of genius. Kill Bill was pretty ****ing ace also (both of them). He hasn't really come close since though.

Thus we have a director developing an oeuvre that combines social concerns with genuine cinematic expression.

 

Planet Terror/Deathproof too

 

I liked those as well not forgetting 'From Dusk Till Dawn' fs banned in Ireland at one stage!

 

Tarantino wrote the script to Dusk til Dawn. Robert Rodriguez directed it. Did have some great moments though.

 

Inglorious Basterds was brilliant as well.

From dusk til dawn is one of my favourite movies. Salma Hayek before and after turning into a vampire.....ah wid

 

I think his best was True Romance.

 

Tarantino is an excellent movie maker. His real strength is not the violence but his dialogue. Pure class.

I wonder what a collaboration between him and the Coen brothers would be like.
