The info below was posted on our website. The Liverpool Street line is nearer to the ground. Looking forward to it, only 200 seats left on sale so def a full House. Heads up guys for the Hull game, c2c have engineering works on the go so allow enough time. Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January - Engineering work between Barking and Pitsea via Laindon Trains will operate between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness to an amended timetable via Rainham. A train service will operate between Grays and Upminster via Ockendon. Buses will operate between Upminster and Pitsea calling at West Horndon, Laindon and Basildon. Passengers should travel via Grays or Pitsea to connect into these buses.http://www.c2c-online.co.uk/travel_i...ce_alterations
From a southend fan.. Your best bet if by going by train is to go from Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria. The ground is on the same road as the station and is a 5 minute walk to either the ground or the high street/shops. If you end up on the C2C line, you will have a 25 minute walk to the ground.
Plenty of room then. The away area holds 2248. Going in the Car and a fish n chip supper after the match.
