Hardly caught napping. If Madrid get involved they invariably get their man and not a lot else anyone can do about it. Probably selling their training ground back to the government to fund their summer transfers again.

To be fair, with 'only' Ronaldo, Kaka, Higuein, Di Maria, Ozil etc they really do need another forward!!

Hey but City and Madrid can't buy everyone and there are plenty of other options out there i.e Lukaku, Aguero, Pastore, Sanchez...

 

Apprently they want to sell Higuain, if true they would need another striker.

Is Neymar actually worth 40m now?, reports say Madrid have stumped up to 40m. I see himn at around 20m myself, but if Henderson is 20m, Neymer must be double that!

 

Henderson is not worth £20m, and Neymar is def not worth £40m...

He won't stay 10 years, real or Barca will end up with him after 3 or 4...plus he's not even tested at the top level.

As for Henderson, largely unknown, decent first season - probably somewhere betwen £8 - £10m....English prospect that sits nicely with the homegrown rules = double your money.

 

Fully expected this deal to be done by now, maybe it was a false story to put pressure on us to up or make an offer???
