Not sure, he's part of a Sardinian family business that makes €200m profit a year.
In the past he's tried buying Palace, QPR, and West Ham.

Lives in Miami.

Sounds like he'd be more trouble than he's worth.

This guy does a decent regular blog and yesterday was kicking off about this deal almost being done ..... Glen Hoddle mentioned as potential new manager the other day. I guess he's just as fooked off of it all as many of us are

You're supposed to hate someone who's:

Brought in a decent manager
Made neccessary changes and improvements to the training ground
Got rid of Bates
Got rid of Yorkshire Radio (and Ben Fry) and brought back Radio Leeds
Kept McCormack!!
Reduced ST prices
Introduced a cheaper new young adult category
Allowed concessions to sit in more than one area of the ground
Introduced quite a few ticket schemes, including giving ST holders the ability to get an extra free ticket for the Wigan home game.
Not called the fans (customers) morons
Introduced a mini bar on the North concourse
Has been paying off the debts Bates has laden us with

and most important, trying to take over the club with a consortium of Leeds fans, who want to back the manager with the players he wants, already having helped him bring in 2 of the 4 players he wanted.

But hey, he must be a tw@t because the takeover hasn't gone through yet

Robofleeds, an actor if I remember rightly? Plays and stuff. Strange fella, sure he got banned.

 

On the other hand RCDM, now I'm playing devil's advocate here.
No takeover goes through.
So no money for new players.
Also too late to sign anyone.
Results get worse.
Crowds fall.
Not enough money is generated to pay for the general running of the club.
Our best players(few and far between, I know) have to be sold in the summer.

etc etc etc...

 

As early as week on Saturday unless we have two wins and some new blood in the team.

 

Aye lads ... so now we at least know the problem isn't Haigh and Sports Capital, it's GFH trying to bleed more cash out of them

As an interested party, he most likely would have recused himself/been excluded from GFH conversations and decision making.
