Why don't you buy in the USA, for less than £40k you could get a flat and rent it out for about £650 a month, it would have made your money back in about 5 years, as the yields are so high there. Interest rates will be going up in Britain soon and there are going to be a lot of ****ed people with their mortgages. The USA is the place to buy these days and it just so happens that I am involved with such a company that is selling houses that the banks are selling in the USA! So, if you fancy making me some money(and of course yourself), buy in the USA!
