Any tips on where to park? Might have to take the car rather than the coach :-{

 

If you google parking at Old Trafford it gives you some good advice..

Got an appointment in at 10am then i'm out of here, shouldnt last more than an hour, home, changed, taxi to colliery tavern, aiming for midday

 

landed. on way to piccadilly. nice morning in Manc so far though i'm sure it'll bloody rain later.
are you on the coach or training it? any idea where the coaches will be landing/dropping wor dans off?

 

Me brother is down there every other week mate. He says it's about a 10min hike from where he parks. Al ask him nd put details on here soon.

'I parked at the Salford Quays Lowry Mall, a ten minute walk away from the stadium, the cost of which was £3.50. There was virtually no traffic on leaving, and the road takes you straight onto the M601 which joins up with the M62/M6. This avoids the congestion of the traffic heading South'. This car park also offers free parking for four hours if you spend £5 or more in the shopping centre and then get a store to validate your receipt/car parking ticket). There is also the MediaCityUK Multi Storey Car Park located at Salford Quays, it has 2,300 spaces and is only a ten minute walk from Old Trafford (see more details below).

Thats a shame as there is nowhere to drink round the ground. With the traffic though you may have little time for any pre match action anyway.

Had a stroll through city centre on my lunch but weather not good and it seemed pretty quiet. Didnt get up to picadilly gardens which is nearer train station for drinks. Reckon its the calm before the storm like. Just make sure anyone leaves it too late to get to ground from centre as trams will be rammed and traffic probably equally as cack!
