Morning all, sun breaking through and a good day for getting down the fields, except I have a French lesson this morning. After my sparkling presentation a couple of weeks ago on Monet, Mme is doing her bit on helping to get the right sounds for this strange language using colour combinations. Having spent years trying to get English children to read it is an interesting approach. Full details available on request.
Thanks for the caramel latte Ak. A bit more proof that sport and politics are not meant to be together!
Seems like we haven't sold our allocation of tickets for Saturday.... http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Tickets-...ry/City-v-Watford-reduced-visitor-allocation?
1) Just got mine.... the lady said said they had said 2.5 k this morning 2) I was using Internet Explorer first thing and gone back to it and it now does not respond at all... as if it was dead... still comes up but nothing responds.... any ideas?
I often think that my better thoughts come when I am in the privacy of my toilet. Not sure that having a chat at the same time would improve matters.
The question you match-attenders should be asking the club is when Saturdays game ends in a DRAW will Watford follow Manchesters example and reduce prices for the REPLAY.
Many years ago I spent a couple of summer months in rural Finland and will never forget my first encounter with a public toilet there. It was little more than a two story log cabin with just two rooms - one on top of the other. The downstairs room was the mens, and consisted of nothing more than a long bench enclosed in against the far wall - with six holes spaced apart. No plumbing of any sort, so presumably it was some sort of dry composting toilet. The worrying thing was that the ladies room upstairs was exactly the same, with their bench directly above the mens. I never did work out where their 'deposits' went, nor how the men avoided being hit by them....
Toilets 30 years ago in the Buddhist monastery on Lantau island were a long gully over which one squatted. The monks' vegetarian diet was very evident...
I can... but wont... tell you stories from my time in the himalaya region... One venue changed my attitude to eating wild pig though....
City warming up for the F.A Cup by hammering the hammers in another cup. I hope our players give a better showing than the hapless hammers.
3-0 isn't so bad, but add it to the 6-0 and it's hideously embarrassing! Hopefully we won't do worse than last season, though i fear for us!
