That Sisu is a lot older than 'chelsea - over 100 years of history' ??

    Including shinpads?

    #103
  4. When he did it a second time, wasn't it in the FA Cup final? If so, there has never been a instruction for players to wear their kit. Loads of players have lifted the trophy or just joined in the celebrations whilst wearing their suit.

Edit: scrap that, the second time was the Europa League <doh>

Seriously, why the **** does it matter if he wore shinpads? Are you really that pedantic?

Yes. You've seen my stuff on Suarez - I'm the man who has memorised the whole report, and not just the self-serving summary the FA wanted (and got) pisshead journalists to skim-read on New Year's Day.

Seriously, do you not get the absurdity of him taking/wearing shinpads when he knew he couldn't be playing? You do have some dirty players, but surely even they can control themselves when Jose isn't around to send them out to injure players, especially their teammates who aren't even playing? I mean, Eto'o wasn't even at the club then, was he?

No, I haven't as it goes and frankly I couldn't care less.

There's no absurdity whatsoever, just people trying to be outraged at Terry and him looking slightly stupid. You must lead a fairly sheltered insignificant life if stuff like that bothers you but judging by your post it's pretty clear you do anyway.

<laugh> if they don't like what we say why are they bothering to read it in the first place <laugh>

Despite many claiming that players have to wear kit for trophy presentation, there isn't even a UEFA rule for it at all. I fully understand Terry wanting to lift the cup himself, it was a 'historic' moment - but he didn't have to wear his kit to do it.

So is Mourinho now a devotee of drinking piss? Doesn't appear to have improved his communication skills - still talking bollocks!!

Roy Keane and Paul Scholes were embarrassed to have to join in the pitch celebrations in 99.

The players themself have said they had to if they wanted to lift the trophy; Ivanovic, Meireles, Ramires and Terry were all unavailable and ALL wore kits due to UEFA's instructions. You would've also found Bayern doing the same.

    Good for them?
