    Therefore, the player&#8217;s three-match suspension commences with immediate effect.

    Vidic had received a red card for serious foul play in his side&#8217;s game against Chelsea on Sunday 19 January 2014.

    Working tonight so will have to keep an eye on things on the laptop. It would be dereliction of duty to not turn this round and reach the final as a Manchester derby final would be excellent, regardless that City would most likely dick us.

    One nil down to Sunderland at home with an hour an a half to play? Not really anything to be too worried about to be perfectly honest.

    I think this could be a cracking game in terms of tension and atmosphere (perhaps not so much in terms of quality) ... looking forward to watching it ... from a neutral's perspective it is intriguing ... I really can't call it ...

    Sunderland have improved considerably under Poyet and now appear to be quite a tough nut to crack - 90 minutes from Wembley as it stands.

    United need to crack that nut - they undeniably have better individual players but confidence appears to be very very fragile ... if they concede first it could be a very long night - intriguing
