Is the Nolan deal good business or madness?

  1. It is a discrace

  2. I'm very disappointed, but worse things could happen

  3. Its seems not bad business, due to Nolan Attributes

  4. Its a good deal!

Get a ****ing grip man. Ranting away like a spastic with tourettes. You haven't got a clue what's going on and nothings confirmed, wait until the facts come out before shouting your mouth off and blaming Ashley.

  7. I'm happy we're closing in on all these new players, but why sell Kevin Nolan? If things go tits up we're ****ed.

Really? Look at your average players. Team spirit is good but with team spirit you also need quality and we have plenty of that.

  10. **** off Cwarr, and go suck off Ashley because you've made it clear you love him.

There is no business sense in selling your top scorer, so the fact that we're even considering it is stupid.

can't see many players doing the job that nolan did, standing in front of the keeper and taking all the **** from the defenders, and being able to knock a hatrick in against the scum

Bit of a backwards move, but if it has to be done, atleast it's being done now and not at the last minute.

  13. Well if we're selling Nolan, Mike Ashley better splash the cash and get some quality in, that's all i'm saying!

My only concern is that I want the squad to be built up so that we have a couple of decent players who can play every position, both for injury cover and competition for places. So I don't really want us to be looking to replace a first team player I want us to add another player of similar quality. I really hoped we would add to our squad without losing anybody decent this summer. I was looking at Nolan as being the back up to BA for the AM position.

As long as we don't treat Nolan as already replaced by Cabaye, but instead add another body (Gardner or N'Zog would be fine for me) then I am not at all fazed by Nolan going.

Agree with this, my only concern is who will be captain. I'm not so sure that this team ethic thing is wholey down to Nolan and the team can move on without him.

Andy Cole was our top scorer, we gained Keith Gillespie and a transfer fund for Les Ferdinand and nearly won the league. Kevin Nolan was our top scorer because we sold Carroll and no other forward had that run of games, if no one scores 12 next season I'll eat my hat, or my penis as seems to be the trend these days.

  17. If we sign Nzogbia, another goal scoring midfielder, then i'll be less upset about this whole thing. Still sad to see such a legend go though.
