I understand your points and they are valid TSS, however the crux of that situation is that a 33 year old, very experienced, international goal keeper took the responsibility of that situation. He had the ball, he made the decision to try something. If he didn't have an option wide from Hooiveld, then he should have leathered it. I bet MP doesn't say "keep doing some tricks fella until one of the CBs is ready for it"
From what I remember, Clyne was very open and ready to receive a return pass on the right. For me Boruc, was almost completely to blame. But hey he should be given some breathing space after his incredible start to the season.
I smell fish. Firstly it's 'Ramirez'. Secondly it's 'Hooiveld'. 'Already' I believe is what you mean...
just been posted on Saints twitter feed and the OS. Both Lovren and Ramirez have ligament damage (which we knew), they are still doing tests but do not want to put a timescale on it until they have a better idea. Whne they know more they will let the fans know. Another example of a change in direction, for years our injuries have been cloak and dagger. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/injury-update-lovren-ramirez-1309638.aspx
There is no need to argue when people just see what they WANT to see. Just ask Boruc what he thinks of that situation but even than you will not be convinced because it has to be Jos' fault.
I doesn't have to be Jos's fault. But when he comes out in interview and accepts that it was partly his fault, then you take notice. As I said, watch the action.
Still thing you are a little clouded on this TSS. You don't think Jos is being a good team mate do you?
Yes, Boruc was finally at fault in not kicking it into Row Z before it was too late. However, when two team members say they should have moved to better positions to take the ball, I tend to accept that: 1. They know more than me 2. They are showing great team spirit by shouldering some of the blame Neither of the above absolves Artur from all blame by any means; I don't think anyone's claiming that.
One of our strengths this year has been giving the angles and options for a pass when off the ball and that did not happen in the particular case,so it's fine for others to take some of the blame for Boruc finding himself being closed down- but he is 100% to blame for trying to play football once it had happened .
it happened quite a bit in previous years with kelvin as well. always a bugbear of mine when they would stand there a bit gormless while Kelvin thrashed about stranded (and my pants filled themselves) instead of giving him an out
#SaintsFC assistant manager Jesús Pérez expects @DejanLovren05 and @gasramirez10 to be out for six-to-eight weeks. #saintsfc Bugger.
That's very bad news and means we can't afford any red cards or injuries at the back. Wonder if we will get a CB in or maybe MP thinks we have some-one who can step up?
