Philip Buckingham ‏@PJBuckingham More on Elliot Kebbie... He's been given a deal until the end of the season and will be part of Stephen Clemence's development squad. Philip Buckingham ‏@PJBuckingham Kebbie a long way off being considered for the #hcafc first team but one to watch.
Confirmed by the HDM: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ayer-Elliott/story-20471973-detail/story.html
Mikey Rogers ‏@mikerogers19 Kebbie has been with us since before Christmas, making sure he's fully fit before signing because he's had glandular fever.
Well worth a good look at him, obviously had something a bit special if TWS got £500K compensation for him.
Seems good to me. If he shows promise we have a young right back to ease in and potentially take over from Rosenior down the road. If he doesn't look up to it we've not lost anything. A shame most cup games have been and gone for him this season.
One for the future actually. Shame that his career has been blighted by illness so far. Hope he does well.
Rumour last May was that Man U were going to offer Hernandez in part exchange for him, and yes, I have got that the right way round. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...-united-plan-summer-move-1865859#.Ut3S6rSny00
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ayer-Elliott/story-20471973-detail/story.html according to that article we have only signed him for the rest of the season.
Anyone think it would be worthwhile loaning Kebbie to Ferriby? It'd help them and would allow him to play some competitive football whilst still training with us instead of playing in 'development games'. Not sure if you can loan to the Conference North though, but I am pretty sure you can to the Conference there's always Grimsby...
I seem to recall Grimsby thanking us a few years back for all the support we gave them? DO we still keep an involvement?
I have no idea, my thinking behind Ferriby was that they're only part-time and it would still allow him to trian with us during the day but just play some competitive football to speed up his development.
