Very interesting take on Kenwyne's situation - http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/articles/the-secret-footballer/14959/text-what-text-kenwyne-jones-the-truth/
I always thought that he had the ability to be as good as Drogba, and would have been an adequate replacement when he left Chelsea. Unfortunately his attitude and apparent laziness means that he'll never make it to that level. On his day, he is a very good striker, but those days seem to be very rare at the moment.
There was a guy who used to post on here who was totally negative about everything except Kenwyne Jones who he thought was awesome. Name totally escapes me.
I am so pleased with that. I like Eddie Howe and the cherries (now we are in different leagues and they are not trying to big up a rivalry)
Kenwyne isn’t a troublemaker and he’s most certainly a handy player on his day but his club has made a decision and, unfortunately for the Trinidad and Tobago striker, they have decided to go about it in a way that forces his hand and makes his time left with the club extremely uncomfortable. So he isn't a troublemaker and he doesn't go on strike to force moves? He's an unlucky guy for 2 chairman to do this him.
Kenwyne should drop down a league, no shame in that. He'd be a decent acquisition for a promotion chasing club. Sent from my RM-914_eu_euro1_337 using Tapatalk
I think this might have been brought up before when it was released, but it still makes me laugh. Apparently Kevin Bond lasted longer than Kenwyne-Jones in a pre-season bleep test, and also asked to come off in a friendly as it was 'too hot'. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...knapp-book-When-I-went-mad-Kenwyne-Jones.html
It's a lot yes, but only £2m more than Carroll went for in January Plus, it would give them such a lift.
