Weird how their fans claim we are obsessed with them but it is their players that can't resist mouthing off or winding up Spurs. ------- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...bert-Pires-mock-rivals-Spurs-Twitter-pic.html Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla and former Gunner Robert Pires have continued the club's recent tradition of mocking Tottenham by being pictured displaying an explicit chant about their arch rivals. The duo, who were appearing on French TV on Sunday night, were snapped with a female fan of Arsene Wenger's side holding a piece of paper containing the terrace song: 'What do we think of Tottenham? S***! What do we think of s***? Tottenham!' The unnamed supporter then posted the image to social networking site Twitter. It has since been retweeted more than 1,400 times. Pires, who regularly trains with his old side to keep fit, and Spaniard Cazorla follow in the footsteps of Theo Walcott and Wojciech Szczesny, who have also angered Spurs fans in recent weeks. Walcott teased Tottenham's travelling support during an FA Cup tie at the Emirates earlier this month, making a gesture to indicate the 2-0 scoreline while being carried off injured on a stretcher. Gunners keeper Szczesny has also got in on the act, taking to his official Facebook page in late November to post the message 'Wonderful scenes at the Etihad..' during Manchester City's 6-0 demolition of Spurs.
In recent years, I've never known Arsenal players/ fans to be so obsessed with us. I remember about 6 years ago, they chanted "you're not rivals anymore" at WHL right before Jenas shut them up with a last minute equaliser yet nowadays, you'd think the Premier League is solely between Arsenal and Tottenham with the way they go on. If they focused half as much time and energy having digs at Spurs into turning up at the Emirates and creating an atmosphere, it might actually be a decent ground to go too.
what the hell does the sign even mean? Thick ****s. Also, i think Cazorla might secretly masquerade as a woman
Pires really would do better to reflect on the humiliation that Barca bestowed on his side in what has become known as "the darkest day in English club football," before obsessing over the mighty Spurs. As for Walnut's 2-0 hand-gesture.. yeah, he had me ****ting bricks with that one.
"you'd think the Premier League is solely between Arsenal and Tottenham with the way they go on" Because it is to them. 4 of the past 8 seasons they have had to wait til FT for the final game of the PL season to know whether they finish above Spurs. That is basically coin-toss territory for how their season will end re Spurs.
The fact that the Gooners on this site have a "St Totteringham's Day" tells you everything you need to know about their obsession with us.
They're a little obsessed with us, aren't they? It's pretty weird. Are there any other Premier League clubs whose players act like that towards their rivals? I think that a few of them might have worked out that their fans will jump on anything like this and hail them to the heavens for it, so they're keen to get in on it. Bit desperate, really.
You only have to think Piskie to see how obsessed with us the are, every one of his posts is about us,slagging us off
Cazorla's now posted a Wengeresque apology on Twitter, claiming that he and Pires couldn't see the incident, er... piece of paper. Santi Cazorla ✔ @19SCazorla Our apoligizes to the Totenham fans, we couldn't see the paper. #alwaysfootballalwaysrespect @piresrobert7 and @19SCazorla Arsenal fans are annoyed that he's apologised, going by the replies. Classy!
Not sure I buy the apology but also not sure I care enough in the first place to have an opinion on it. He's just another silly Gooner.
Why does any Spurs fan care what these two, clearly not very bright, goons have to say? It's merely fodder for the likes of Peskie and his fellow inadequates!..
Every time I see the name Arsenal,I.....hahahaha.....oh god.....hahahahaha...you just can't stop can you?
As I said, I don't believe it. Do you really think someone would pose with a piece of paper without taking 2 seconds to read it? It could have said "Cazorla's a twat", or something racist, anything.
