Do you still want an ego with a habit of getting sent off?

We do seem to have very little ego at the club...

Norwich performance aside, is midfield really where we need to strengthen? I have greater concerns about who can compete with Figgy on a week in week out basis. I have a feeling that part of his downturn in form is due to complacency, the only competition he really has is an out of position Rosy.

Where's ya Ian Ashbee, George Boateng, Gary Brabin, Justin Whittle, Billy Whitehurst these days?

We need a leadership. Yes we have a quality group of players but apart from Liam Rosenior and Alex Bruce, nobody rallies the troops, puts in a thumping tackle, scares the **** out of the opposition..

For me, we need another creative midfielder rather than another defensive midfielder.

£4m bid according to the mirror.

We need another midfielder. We're lacking a ball winner, and when Koren goes a number 10 also. Livermore has very good passing accuracy, the vision to see the pass, and gets forward well, but he's the one doing all the leg work and protecting the defence so rarely gets the chance to show off his offensive game. Quinn also has quality to create from midfield, as does Meyler but he's very hit and miss with his technique.

I assume we'll be playing 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 to get both Long and Jelavic in the team, so we wouldn't need the number 10 type, but a good ball winner protecting the defence allowing Livermore to push forward more would be a very a astute signing IMO.

I am sure that the useless british media hacks will be looking at all players Steve Bruce has had in the past.

    Not quite just yet. ;)

The day i sink to Mr Hat's level is the day i stop watching football. FACT. <ok>

I'd be happy to have him. You can never have too many good players, and he's still a bloody good player.
