Can't really argue with that statement.

There probably "are three worse teams than us",and I guarantee that the followers of all the other Clubs' who are also in the mix, feel the same.
Not so long ago we didn't even have to consider such a scenario, but now Swansea City and the r word are appearing in the same sentence.
We are right in the relegation pot,bad luck, poor refereeing,injuries,etc.,etc.,etc.,notwithstanding.
One thing we know for sure is that there are no points awarded retrospectively for any kind of suffering a Club has had to endure.

Whingeing, and looking for excuses is not going to help, and I for one refuse to be a part of that.

"Keeping the faith",however,is a different ball game, and I'll join in that one.

Why is having an opinion, that clearly you don't like, akin to "throwing **** at the wall"?

Your S/W analogy is so far off the mark, that I don't know where to begin addressing it. So I won't bother.

It sounds very EastEnders though, and perhaps you should work on it and submit it to the BBC.

If we don't pick up any points even with our strongest side out then after the next 3 games then I'll admit we've got problems .The FA cup game Saturday takes on a new perspective ,does he play his strongest available or field a mix of youngsters ,It gives a few more days breathing space until Fulham which is far more important .Mixed emotions about Saturdays' game , we beat Utd and could go a lot further but doe he chance further squad disruption .

Of course injuries are our main problem. How can anyone just write it off as an 'excuse', what club of Swansea's size can afford to be missing 6 or 7 of their best players including the most influential player and top goal scorer. Does anyone honestly think we'd be in this situation if we had something even resembling our first XI available.

Laudrup will take chances against Birmingham , skelton crew on the pitch .Some of our best players rested . People that could play ,coming back from injury , won't play.

I'm with Terror, Nottage and others on this. Take six players out of ANY of the teams in the bottom half of the table and they wouldn't just lose, they would be slaughtered.

I'm as disappointed as anyone by our run but keep it in perspective. We have Michu, Dyer, Canas, de Guzman, Vorm and Pablo out of contention and it's not only their contribution as starters we are missing, it means that our bench is wafer thin as well drastically reducing our options to change a game if it is required.

Our only problem is that when they return, they will need games to get match fit again and we are running out of games. I think we will stay up but it will be a close run thing.

Sorry Lib, didn't realise I was looking for excuses just stating my opinion. I honestly don't believe we earmarked games against the top 6 as nailed on points.

Ok so it is reasonable to expect someone to get the same results out of a team with half of their best people missing <doh>
    Give me strength!

I agree with Vetch. If we just blame our problems on other things (injuries, referees, etc) then we may as well give up. Why bother even making any effort if everything is out of our control. This is a typical attitude in today's society - blame someone else so that you can sit on your arse and not take responsibility. Laudrup and the players need to up their game very quickly.

I think many are still in denial that we are in a relegation battle. Laudrup thinks it, the players think it, but some on here don't. We are 3 points off the bottom, and that means we're in a relegation battle, whether you admit it or not. The good news is that we have what appear to be a run of easier games, but don't forget that at this time of the season, all those at the bottom are battling for points. These games might not be as easy as they appear. If we go down, I doubt we'll ever come back up again. Huw is probably making plans to cut the stadium capacity in half because we won't need all those seats unless we start winning some games. Thankfully some of the injured players should be back this weekend, so that should help.

You are still missing the point.
The Swans' are THREE points off the bottom place, the reasons for which are MANY and VARIED.
Sitting at your computer getting all vexed at me because I see the situation in a slightly different way doesn't really help.
My thinking anything is "reasonable" is totally irrelevant, and interests me not one jot, since my views/opinions amount to nothing tangible, like a point or two.
Burying your head in the sand, and hiding behind a smiley is pointless.
As is pretending that eventually all these nasty referee's will start giving The Swans',penalties, and that all the horrid injuries will go away and affect other players in other Clubs',etc.,etc.
Do you think it's reasonable that Laudrup had NO GRASP of the detail of Ki's loan deal to Sunderland?

"Give me strength". You could try a pint of Guinness.

I really find this all so tedious. Why not just accept that we cannot see eye to eye on this,or possibly anything else Swans' related, and cease the diatribe before you get more distressed.

As I've said in my original post, we need two key players back, that is Michu and Dyer, and we could also do with another fast winger in the transfer window, I'm crossing my fingers for both, as without this happening, we are not going to get the 7 points from the next run of games otherwise, in my view!.......<ok>

Agree Vetch, I'm not interested in endless excuses either, though our injury situation should have dictated all hands on deck, but that clearly isn't happening with Laudrup or Jenkins, can't believe that we gaffed and fluffed over bringing Ki back, Sunderland must be laughing their socks off!................<ok>

The line beginning "Whingeing..." was not aimed at you Master,it was a general comment based on several other posts that put out lots of excuses.Apologies,my friend,if it looked as if it was aimed at you.

Since my name is mentioned here, I feel I have licence to comment. I didn't find Terror in any way disagreeable Dragon, but I do appreciate your policing of the thread.
