Morning ****scrapers. Back in the orifice again. So the funeral on Wednesday was pretty emotional. Must have been in excess of 400 people at the crem. We had to stand in the lobby as all the seats were taken. We went back to the chosen venue after, mainly to pay our respects to the family and then back to the Cheese. Some of you may remember I went to Cockney Roger and Jill's for Christmas dinner. I called round the day after New Year's Day to drop some filter tips off. Wish I hadn't bothered. She was screaming her head off at Roger accusing him of shagging someone on the previous day. I just wanted to get out, but he kept giving me a beer and skinning up. I didn't think for a minute that he was guilty, but she was paranoid as ****. On the day of the funeral, I ****ed off home at about 8.00 pm. Apparently Jill was absolutely arseholed later, and started screaming at the Cheese landlady about Roger's supposed indiscretion, swearing at her whilst doing so. The landlady said she was in no position to talk, as she'd had been shagging the landlady's brother on and off for 2 years. I had no idea about this. She told me on the Saturday that she was going to tell Roger about it. I didn't think she would. I was later than usual getting in there yesterday and Roger was sitting at the bar. Denice (the landlady) HAD told him he'd just called Jill and told her to get her arse into the pub. She wouldn't, so Roger asked Denice to go back to the house to confront Jill with the accusation. I was outside having a *** and then they both walked past me on the way to the house She still denied it, even though there's no way Denice would make it up. Would you have told him under the circumstances? To be continued...........
RHc, there comes a time when any good man needs to know when to walk backwards very slowly then leg it. Sounds to me like you escaped narrowly getting drawn into a serious domestic there old fruit. ... anyway that aside.. (are you writing this for corrie) .............. We were all thinking of you last week even though the f'rs on here would not admit it. sorry again for your loss.
Yeah. When he told me that Denice had told him, I said she'd told me the day before. He said "Thanks for letting me know". I said I couldn't recount what might be hearsay to him, and there was no was I was going to be the first to say anything anyway. Sad loss. He was one of the good guys, but still a real character. Thanks for your thoughts
Knob off They have a torrid relationship at the best of times, so **** knows what it's like in their house at the moment. I won't be going round to find out
