He'd have probably picked Chelsea as no player knew who Manchester City were back then.

Its insane the difference in performance in just one year with largely the same team.

How long can Moyes keep bemoaning his luck? He has no precedent of success, so why do the media and some fans believe this will eventually come?

Perhaps they think that he may become brilliant like Brendan?

Rodgers didn't take over the 2nd biggest club in the world and current league champions though Diego.

See what you could have done at OT with a bit more belief/bottle. You could be top of the league now <ok>

What is your point, everyone has been saying how bad we are for two years so i think it is a similar situation.

For two of those two years you had Fergie so comparison's between then and now are invalid, but even now most Utd fans agree that their team/squad, manager and prospects are dire, tbh if Fergie was still there the non trier's in the team would get their arses kicked and humiliated by him.

Not sure Fergie could help right now, too many individual stupid mistakes are being made. He may make a difference with some of our "injuries" though <whistle>

Didn't think you were that bad. But players lack a bit of belief.

When we took the lead we all thought game over. You didn't think that under Saffa

    Surely you mean drogs.

Unsure of where my meltdown is supposed to be. I was just winding drogs up.

Probably would have done better at Chelsea in all honesty. Wouldn't have the competition he has at city.

He'd be having a season like suarez.

It hurts to see Torres in our number 9 shirt when Aguero was available <grr>

I'd hate to see him wasted on that football you lot play, effective as it is being it's not great to watch for the neutral. City on the other hand are a decent watch for the neutral, given Jose and his "style" are back I reckon Aguero absolutely made the right choice, he'll get far more goals the way City play.

Except Ancelotti was in charge at the time, not Mourinho. If we had a striker of Aguero's ilk, we'd be pissing all over everyone bar City.

Nah you would be pissing all over City as well.

Look at the last team to have a striker of his ilk.... they romped to the league. Without him they struggle for goals.

Dunno, Negredo is pretty good too! But I know what you're saying.
