I'd have to be pretty tactful about it. It normally helps after she's had a few to drink, so I might wait for that opportunity to open up.

Actually something that's playing on my mind now is that last time I saw her drunk she was getting a little touchy-feely with me. I kind of just assumed it was her being friendly but looking back it was slightly unusual.

 

Yeah don't mention that to the guy.

 

There may be trouble ahead If she fancies you, she may get the wrong idea if you ask if she's alright.

It wasn't anything inappropriate as such; just more hugging, holding onto me and leaning on me than is normal for her. She was also in a very good mood and he was also at the party. I'm probably reading way too much into it, but if she was to act the same way around other guys, and they were to take that as a sign and try something on......drunk people make bad decisions.

 

Also could be a sign she wants comfort so something is getting to her?

 

She was really happy all night though. Normally if she's upset about something and combines it with alcohol, it ends in a lot of tears.

 

Because he'll be unhappy about it and people tend to go to good lengths to blame anyone other than their partner for stuff (unless he's not like that, I don't know).

Maybe she's started doing drugs/more drugs. But yeah from what you've said there's reason to be concerned, whether she's shagging around or just isn't in a good place herself.

I was once friends with a girl who had a boyfriend and she seemed very friendly towards me. I gave her the benefit of the doubt as to being friendly and not flirting because if I wrongly accused her of flirting them things would have gotten awkward and our friendship would be over. In hindsight, she was a slut and her boyfriend (who I didn't know very well), for some reason or another, thought I was flirting with her? Which led to an untrue rumour going around my school. Gullible twats.

That's extremely similar to a situation I was in back at school, except in my situation the boyfriend was spot on.

 

She's just told him she wants to move out and move back in with her parents. Going on about money problems. God I hope that's the real reason. Aaand she's gone out with friends.
