Like everyone else I was shocked to read the gossip about Gyan, then I read it. The Sunderland email in the headline turns out to be an agency and the club seem to be saying no truth in it.

So here is my take on what will happen, no ITK, source, man on the door or cousin working in the burger bar, just what I feel, or may be hope will take place.

Gyan I feel will leave but not this window, maybe in January but more likely next summer.

I think Gordon will go in January and in will come Gibbson, Oshea, Larssen, Westwood, Don thingy,Gardner and Ngog.

We will also see 2 big signings and I still see Nzogbia being one with a striker the other.

With Westwood number 1 keeper I see Bardo at RB and Richardson used at LB with Anton to cover and Oshea, Bramble and Turner fighting for CB pairing.

Gardner, Gibbson and Larssen more than make up for the loss of Henderson and N’zog and Sess with give us teeth.

Jut my opinion but maybe these glasses really are rose coloured.

Surely the fact that Quinn has made a statement on the officail website carries a bit more weight than "the club seem to be saying no truth in it" and as for Richardson at left back i realy hope not, would much prefer to keep Bardsley there. If you take away his pace I dont think Richardson can bring anything else to the table

I only hope that Gyan is fully committed to the cause! If not, then we should be looking for a replacement who is.

    Syd

If these were to happen, where do you think that you would finish next season?

Its only my feeling but I think Gyan will give 100% and I'm not saying I'm happy with all of what I think will happen its just that I think it will.

If Syd is right, we'd finish about mid table again. With luck we could push for Europe. We aren't spending the type of money for us to shoot upwards into automatic European places.

Do we need Gardner and Gibson? I know the more the merrier, but with Larsson also linked.

Now out of the 3 i'm hoping it's Gardner....
