Christ. I was trying to get that joke for ages - "Fanny ka-mellor? Fanny Camilla? Is that funny? No funnier than Fanny Adams" - until I searched for the The Chase clip and heard it pronounced. I'm not a smart man.

Not only did I give the wrong number of years for my parents anniversary meal, I've booked the ****er for the wrong day. Use this to remind me never to go into hospitality or planning.

Got something I need a totally neutral perspective on here:

If a girl keeps getting overly pissed off with her boyfriend for seemingly trivial things, and often goes out with friends, ignores his texts and sometimes doesn't even come home, that's a bad sign isn't it.

(I'm not the guy, by the way)

Nope probably means she's fine and there's totally not anything to worry about, in my professional opinion

Subtle hints going on here :)...two options: challenge the behaviour and be prepared to be the one that walks. You feel better if you take control.

I should probably add that this is a fairly recent development. It's not really like her at all to act like that.

Apparently, if you get jealous over little things, that's a good sign as it shows they care. Same as if couples argue, it shows that they care.

the best thing to do is bottle up your feelings and resent the person whilst doing nothing about it

If that's not the best way then why do so many people do it? That's all the logic I'd need.

Seriously though, dude should probably confront her. Not saying there's any funny business going on, but there's probably funny business going on.

I kinda think I should. She is a pretty good friend of mine, and he has a tendency to be not very rational and say the wrong things. The only problem is then she would know he's been telling me stuff.

I don't think she'd keep that to herself.

Who knows? Depends what kinda problems it is. Just because she is usually open about most things doesn't mean everything effects her the same way.

My mates gf was the same start going out getting smashed and kissing random guys. Turned out her dad was very ill and she lost it a bit.

If you're up for confronting her then that's an issue you'll have to face - with experience, pretty easily resolved by going "He's been telling me he's concerned, but he's a really close friend (or some soppy bollocks) so it's only natural that he'll share something if he's upset". If she's a decent girl like she claims she is, she'll take something like that fine. I've always gone in with a "you're my friend, so I want to help if there's anything upsetting you" rather than a "he's my friend so I'm gonna attack you, bitch" approach.

Or I could just say I've been noticing things myself? She might buy that.

If you avoid bringing up that you know she's been coming home late, and stuff (unless you're in a position to know she'd be doing that).
