Well, yes. Cortese was head of a sport desk though, whilst this chap doesn't appear to have any experience in leading an office or business.
Experts in different fields can ask the questions and understand the answer...can see why you would have a range of advisors.
Which hotel are they staying at, Du Vin? Lainston house? DTLW, iron a white shirt, put on a black Dickie bow and "Room Service!"
No need to insult him PTF, if you don't agree then say so without insulting people. You could pollute the ambience of the forum
BBC are reporting that John Williams, former chairman of Blackburn Rovers, is under consideration for the role. He's a Southampton man, too. Currently working within Manchester City Football Club.
John Williams seems really popular with Blackburn fans. I've asked a few about him and they've said "you won't get anyone better". Seems highly regarded. He is good friends with Big Sam though... he's also from Totton.
They are the interviewing panel not the bloody candidates surely? PS Written before I had read all of the above posts.
Yeah, I think that they are her advisors. So far the names linked are... Llambias, Purslow and Williams. Suggests we are looking for someone with previous experience of running a Premier League club.
Love John Williams, my favourite ever film composer. Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Schindler's List, Harry Potter. Legend. Oh, it's not him you say. In which case, I do find him annoying on Solent as he seems to have a permanent cold, but surely Willo can't be as bad a CEO as he is a Bournemouth summariser. Not him either. Oh. Don't know then....
