Thats great that were doing that but if we can add a prolific striker to that aswel. It just worries me that were relying on the midfield too much a striker is a must imo

I'd love to see Rhodes in the top flight, I think that he could be a good goal scorer but would Sunderland be the best fit?

These boys are scoring for fun in the Championship - ffs even Connor Whickham can do that.

Fletcher & Altidore are feeding on scraps rather than a regular supply of quality crosses - I;m not saying they cannot do better, they can but the lads you suggest are not the answer.

Thing is they've been feeding off scraps for most of the season. Even if we had someone as prolific as Suarez he wouldn't have got many in that team.
We are playing better in spells, but still very inconsistent, so hopefully we can get someone in to share the load, create pressure etc create better chances and start scoring up front as well as from elsewhere.

Would be nice but there aren't many on the planet who'll do that in the premierleague. There's only Luis Suárez you could describe as being prolific this season. There's only 5 players scored more than 10 prem goals this season and 4 of them play for ridiculously free scoring teams the other is Remy who's been playing inside left. In the 5 man midfield era of modern day football most goals for most teams are coming from the midfield. That's the nature of football these days.

Unfair on Agüero. 14 is a fine return and could be classed as prolific at this stage.

Thats a good point but I find our 2 strikers are just too lazy at times so if not someone prolific at least someone to put a shift in

Oh I agree their return isn't good enough. Simple as. I'm just happy it isn't as important these days and that Gus has dragged us into the modern game and now goals are flowing from the midfield. Under Brucie and MoN, if the strikers didn't score nobody scored (Apart from Larsson set pieces, what happened to them?)

Why answer critics on Wednesday? He's been dreadful. Nowt but hot air. Do the talking on the pitch. It's the only language that matters.

Do think you get my point mate :p

I mean he's been ****e, why hasn't he 'shown everybody' already? I'll take anything said on social messaging with a pinch of salt as he's proved nothing. I want the old Fletch back, hot air on the internet means nowt to me.

I would love to see fletcher back to his best.
If he could start playing like AJ has we would be golden.

Another player we could look at is Adam Le Fondre he did well in the prem (even though Reading got relegated)
And he's still scoring in the championship.
