Don't think they would, and let's not forget that fat Sam stated he is good enough to manage the Real's and Utd's of the world, surprised he was overlooked tbf.
Got to be honest, today is the first time I've watched Utd and regardless of the HT score, knew they were beaten. No fight in them and "looked beaten in the tunnel" to use a cliché.
Really? United were the better team for the majority of 1st half and would have won easily with our main strikers up front. The goals did take the fight out of us though.
I'd gone for 3 - 0 in another post and I have to say i wasn't at all surprised. The really sad thing is that it isn't a surprise - we simply can't compete.
Man that was less a red than what Eto did against us. The reffing in the league has been atrocious yet again. Least they have the goal\no goal problem sorted.
"Won easily" by having your 2 strikers fit is debatable. I don't think you've ever 'won easily' at Stamford Bridge and bar one chance to Welbeck I fail to see what other opportunities Rooney or RVP would have put away. Shame he brought Hernandez on far too late...looked really lively..
