Rose won that brilliantly, beat his man easily and then totally ballsed it up. Really bad finish when there was nobody to stop him. Poor decision and a crap attempt.
I can picture it, too! But, what's happened to us? We're a completely different team to the one that started this match!
I know I'll sound biased, but eriksen has been absolutely brilliant in this first half. He seems to be everywhere.
Rose won the right to have a punt from anywhere a few seasons back against the Nomads at the Lane. I can't hold even a really bad on against him.
The whole defence has been really good so far, the odd little mistake but they're recovering well and limiting Swansea to long distance shots. Midfield isn't doing well, Bentaleb and Dembele are struggling to handle them and the players up front and out wide have been poor or inconsistent. First bit of quality attacking from us and it produces a goal. Lovely ball from Eriksen, if he was faster he'd be a great winger as I think his crossing is better than his passing. Sherwood spoke before the game about players swapping and in particular Chadli and Eriksen but none of that has happened so far, I hope that's not because Eriksen's being greedy, he needs to work a bit harder in his current role, for me.
Eriksen and Ade have been excellent as has Dembele. Still not quite sure why Bentaleb starts over Capoue but if we win then I suppose Sherwood is justified.
