So why do I feel so effing shyte today ?

I'll tell you why - uncertainty.

The uncertainty surrounding the name change.
The uncertainty about the club's finances.
The uncertainty of the owner's next statement.

    :(

    1) Who knows what team names will look like 50 years from now. The game might include robots and lasers for all we know. Could be the start of a wave of change, nothing lasts forever in the same format.
    2) Finances will be fine if we stay up. Go down and our expensive players will be signed by QPR/West Ham anyway.
    3) Something involving rabbits?

and Allan McGregor unfollowed me on Twitter.

Lose 1-0 at Norwich and then have your favourite player unfollow you on twitter. Oh, cheers!

It's bunching like **** at the bottom and make no mistake we're in a relegation battle.

We've just had a tough run of games and yesterday was supposed to be an easier one.

Bruce knows the terrain and we have the players to stay up. Do Meulensteen, Solskjaer, Poyet ?

Like most on here, I'm more worried about the extinction of our club on a maverick's whim- this is a far bigger and terminal threat.

And eventual relegation. Even Man Utd went down once.

Not quite right. They were relegated and finished 5 th in the second division in the last season before WW1.
After the war the FA for some reason, one can have a guess what reason, decided they should be included in the newly increased First Division instead of the team who were second. Who happened to be Spurs. More to the history of Spurs harred of Arsenal than merely them being local rivals.

Would have to check exact years etc , but I think that Sunderland were the team who went longest before suffering relgation from the top flight, it will have been nearly 70 years.

Going down would be an absolute disaster financially and we wouldn't come back up. On the other hand how marketable would Hull Tigers be in the championship Mr Allam.

This year for me is a bonus year, if we stay up great. iF we don't then whatever, we will go back to another chapter. It's only bloody football and you should be enjoying being here. We may have been tosh yesterday but I remember being tosh to Hartlepool at home in Division 3 and losing 3-0 only 12 years or so ago.

If we were to be relegated (I'm sure we won't) they will all have relegation clauses and/ or wage redutions signed into their contracts
