Some of the coaches got caught up behind a major accident on the M1 somewhere in the Leicester area, not all the coaches made it. At least one that made it to London went to Highbury.
Not the coaches fault that there was a big crash on the M1. Picked up some kids from Goole on the way and they said there was a large group of them but they were all on different buses, so each bus had to make a detour off M62 to pick up 2 or 3 people each. Bog got broke on bus. Drivers in the dark about the problems on M1, passengers ringing work/home to get updates. But it was FOC so never look a gift horse in the mouth. Might use em again if needs must, the railway is no better and far more expensive. There was a terrible passive silence from the mainly flasker contingent there and back which was chilling.
