I'm not denying it could have been a red mate, my heart nearly stopped watching it live. But the replay clearly shows Brown gets to the ball first deflecting it toward the onrushing attacker. It's only a slight touch but enough to make it a brilliant tackle. I'm gutted the lad got hurt but, Brown didn't go for him and thats what the ref saw too. Two players going for the same ball.
So why tell lies? Why not just keep bringing up thugs like Shearer who assaulted Lennon to back up your weak none existent argument?
