BmCd said he was going back to basics, played 442, two strong players inthe middle (who played much stronger than I could ever have expected from them), two new guys on the wings that have not played much and need games to get match fit, and varney came back in and was 10 times better than Smith.

We shut them down, harrie dthem, prevented them fro mmaking many chances at all, made shed-loads of chances ourselves, and we were unlucky. On any other day, we would have scored a hatful - it was one of those days.

If we continue playing that formation, those tactics, and with that passion and intensity, we will finish top 6. Because we will win 2 out of every 3 from now, giving us 77 points.

But that is completely dependent on them playing like that every week, irrespective which players are in the team.
