Clearly goes for the ball and gets it .............. the player runs into him after the ball has gone.

It was a ****ing brilliant tackle you ****ing numpty, the result of the great tackle is regrettable, but **** happens.

But you're used to that horrible little **** Cabaye and his snidey hacking at players legs as the norm aren't you?
So you aren't used to seeing proper tackles. (Especially with that gay **** Tiote as your laughable enforcer.)

Winning the ball means nothing. He looks like he snapped his ankle.

    FFS!
I have and watched it live, Brown goes for the ball gets to it first then the Southampton players momentum takes his foot into the danger area. His foot was travelling towards Brown's they meet after Brown takes the ball.
Do you want to check the gif again?

And when Shearer kicked Lennon in the head, Newcastle fans would argue Lennon was trying to headbut his foot.

If this was Lovren on Borini...

**** off that is the result of the tackle and the forwards desire to get to the ball before Brown, not because Brown intended it.
None of us is pleased that the lad got hurt, **** happens.

It was not a foul, because the ref did not give it as a foul. Its as simple as that.

It'll be interesting to watch motd to see if there's a different angle to it. He went for the ball, but was too slow to get anywhere near it IMO. If he touched the ball in that gif you've got better eyesight than me. Could easily have been a red.

The world is an oblate spheroid and the sky is colourless, if that is the way you want to go.

I'm not denying it could have been a red mate, my heart nearly stopped watching it live.
But the replay clearly shows Brown gets to the ball first deflecting it toward the onrushing attacker.
It's only a slight touch but enough to make it a brilliant tackle.
I'm gutted the lad got hurt but, Brown didn't go for him and thats what the ref saw too.
Two players going for the same ball.

    So why tell lies?

Why not just keep bringing up thugs like Shearer who assaulted Lennon to back up your weak none existent argument?

Why claim Browns challenge was perfectly fair when it wasn't?
