Merson isn't always as anti-Saints as he used to be...even he realised he sounded daft when we were obviously a good side. The thing I hate is that he makes sweeping statements rather than offer an opinion. Matty never gets a chance to reply as it is very hard to speak when astonished into silence.

I expect the detectives knew early enough, once they said that the baby wasn't at nursery for weeks alarm bells must have been ringing.

Booked a table for my parents' anniversary meal. Old school Italian place, really highly rated.

Only one problem, I said it was for 15 years and not 20. Thankfully I phoned back, else he'd have knocked up the cake... phew.

Farage is a bubbly character and raises some valid points, but they're a one person party. A lot of their senior members are anti-abortion and want to bring back the death penalty, which is a bit backward. They'll come top in the Euro elections which will be annoying as their members tend to not turn up much and miss a lot of votes.

 

Strange combination....anti-abortion and pro-death penalty. A bit contradictory.

I mentioned on the other thread, but really should be here. After watching the game, my daughter and I spent the afternoon baking. Great fun. My cheese cakes are in the fridge and half an hour from being set. The peanut/chocolate tray bake thingy is, er, um, well ers just say its very rich and being served in small pieces.
