And the rest of the game was poor? Not a 4 performance is my point. The ball moved for sure, the commentator even said it at the time, but hey, we saw that goal differently, which is fine.
This the big man that got slaughtered on here because he can't pass? I said back then when he was getting stick that some people wouldn't realise how important he was until he was not available.
Ok maybe I was a tad harsh with the 4, but at the end of the day he cost us 2 points and he only made 1 good save.
Your unnecessary "armchair fan" comment aside, he clearly wasn't too surprised by it to get his hand to it, so he should have kept it out.
He didn't cost is them on his own. Once again we dominated a team and couldn't take our chances. A similar story.
I'll stop calling you out on your pathetic barbs when you learn to disagree with someone without insulting them
As I said if that's an insult, you are very sensitive. I'm chilled, I'll leave this now as otherwise we'll bicker and annoy everyone else. Have a good evening PTF.
Were any of you aware that in the 2nd half KD was stripped and ready to replace Artur, there was a problem that I haven't been able to work out yet, was he unwell, had he aggravated the break, or as someone said had a groin problem? When the others subs had to be used his replacement had to be put aside and he recovered enough to make some blinding saves.
It's not a case of being sensitive, it's unnecessary and pollutes the air of general civility which thankfully sets this place apart from other less welcoming forums. Other people manage to debate without demeaning those who disagree with them, why can't you? Yes I am aware of that, I'm not sure what the problem was either. But he had recovered well enough to be considered fine to continue and as you say, managed to make more difficult saves.
His balls had just made the save from Fletcher and he seemed to take a while to recover from it. Not sure why all the moaning about Schneiderlin. As per the stats I thought he had a good game. The only glaring thing that I guess we all noticed was when he got caught in possession in the second half although the ball was passed to him when he didn't really have the space or time to deal with it.
Aha! Did a quick count, everything in the right place, play on, he did look a bit green around the gills.
I thought Lallana was ok today, not amazing, but ok. But once he was off we looked a bit lost, like we didn't really know what to do with the ball going forward. We could do with bringing in another talented player for that area, especially now Ramirez looks to be out. And I hope Clyne didn't start as he's not fully match fit, because Chambers isn't yet at our overall standard. He will be, but right now he's not. imho Clyne is better defending and much better going forward.
Sometimes as a goalkeeper you look better getting no where near the ball. Sure he would be disappointed with the 2nd goal and probably should have done better, but when a ball is stuck fiercely it's very difficult to do anything other than deflect it, especially if you don't get your palm to it. A little harsh with the 4.
