    We were very lucky today. A dubious penalty saved us. Although it could be argued it makes up for the Sterling goal being disallowed against City.

    Mmmm well better than it could have been but I think it shows our weakness and that's on the bench because we have no game changers on there.
    Second half positives ..well Gerrard looked much better further forward. Henderson and sterling played well. Skrtel too.

    Not to play down Villas performance but we were utter crap today... bit better 2nd half... but still not good enough.


    Well done Villa for taking advantage of our crap ness and pushing us.

    Villa the better team today both halves considered.

    Poor game from us. Villa played very well. Villains will feel, probably rightly, aggrieved. First half cost us ... big! Everton very likely to replace us in the top four. <doh>

    Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge and Suarez cannot all play in this league. 3 at the most.
