Could still be a break tho. When I broke my leg I had to wait two days for a scan because of the swelling.
Ah apologies. In which case, yeah the guy's a prat for that and should imagine their moderators will deal with it.
Think it is just a mental injury....he did not get hit by anybody, possibly overstretched himself just a little. But oxygin? Could be theatre.
It was worse refereeing than that. Even if Chris Foy decided that Bown's was not a foul he should then have pulled play back for the 3 or 4 fouls on Ramirez before he got to the edge of the box. He was surely playing advantage for the 30 yards prior while several Sunderland players tried to 'slow' Ramirez down. Shocking refereeing and hope that because Brown was not carded that he can now get a retrospective ban for dangerous play.
Gutted for Dejan and Gaston, but don't forget Artur looked like he pulled a groin as well? Not a good day, actually not a good week?
Didn't see the match, can someone summarise? Was quite happy when I saw 77% possession and 2-0 up, when they pulled 1 back I thought we were in trouble. Pleased we didn't come away empty handed but newcastle opening the gap and 9th place could be our home. How bad do the injuries look? Did boruc go off (not mentioned on bbc)?
Hello lads Dire from us today, not quite sure how we escaped with a point by far and away one of the better teams ive seen at the SOL during my lifetime, confident and fluent passing game that basically took us out of the game either way we somehow scraped it! hope the lads stretchered off arent too badly injured and make full recoveries
I think it was the save he made from Fletcher. The replay showed it hit him between the legs and my Son said to me 'Doesn't it hurt to save the ball between your legs'
Ok, here's my summary. Sunderland gave us a mysteriously huge amount of room (Jack Cork was popping off the pitch and making cups of tea between receiving the ball and laying it off) and we went 2-0 up having had and missed a bundle of other chances. Sunderland's heads were down and fans were leaving. A minute or two later they scored one - good but fortunate finish (their only shot on target in the 1st half) their heads lifted, the crowd got behind them and the pressure started. Second half they came out heads up, fighting, closing us down and playing much more physically. We conceded one and could have conceded more (we could also have scored more). Vin
Still feels like two points lost. Caught in two minds though, bearing in mind I thought we'd lose it all when Fletcher came on.
