The injuries are overshadowing what was quite a poor result.

We really should be closing out games like that.

Dejan never seems to miss tackles and is confident and dangerous going forward. He's a rock and I just hope it's all precautionary.

Sadly I think the use of oxygen (or whatever it is) would suggest it's rather more than that.

Strange injury...seemed to be okay until he tried to get up. Not a broken bone I would have thought.

Have you seen the photo floating around on our match thread? His foot is at 90o from his ****.

    From his shin, I meant.

Yep, that's Ramirez. We're talking about Lovren.

Hope it isn't too unkind to Ramirez, but Lovren is the most important to us. Sorry, Gaston :(

Yeah, best-case scenario is a pretty bad sprain of the ligaments. Most likely, unfortunately, is that the ligaments gave and the ankle is either broken or dislocated.

Yup would go along with that. Sad for the lad, he just doesn't get the luck. I'm keeping fingers crossed for Dejan, as Fran says he's a way bigger miss for us. (Sorry Gaston too!)

Sometimes a break can be quicker to heal than a bad ligament injury...not sure if that applies to ankles. End of season for him surely...poor lad, just remembered the World Cup.

WE don't finish teams off and games like this and Aston Villa we should have won. However, we have a young side, were are safe therefore it is good experience for them.

I'm going to suggest it might be a knee for Dejan.

On losing a two-goal lead...when is the last time that has happened? Can't remember any instances since our return to the Prem.

He was wheeled past us with the oxygen tank. I think it's worse than just precautionary, unfortunately.

    Burnley two weeks ago <laugh>

If you're talking about games we didn't go onto win, it looks to me like the Peterborough 4-4 (twice in one game, impressive).

He flew in, didn't get the ball, tried to get round the back of the player while in floor, seemed to overstretch when kicking out.
