<laugh> Love it. Must remember that one.

Is KPR ok? I mean, he seems very intent on drudging up any old crap to belittle united and their former players. This guys losing it.

As for the Best/Dalglish debate, it's not about Honours. Otherwise, Anderson is better than Gerrard. Evans is better than Carragher, etc etc.

You're perfectly entitled to think that Dalglish is better than best, but put forth a cogent argument please, sweet'eart.

That is the most likely explanation for his obsession in all fairness. Infact it goes way beyond obsession, this guy could become dangerous.

Giggs pisses all over Gerrard. A thug who got a 16 year old pregnant, run over a little boy and battered a DJ with about 5 of his mates. A bit like Joey Barton. Them scousers eh? They are all the same. Nobody comes close to Giggs in the English game. Not Dalglish, Rush, Keegan, Barnes, Fowler none of them mugs can lace Giggs' boots.

Then you have Dalglish who is a poor excuse for a man. He is a selfish bottler pure and simple. The man doesn't deserve a knighthood like our very own SIR Alex Ferguson and SIR Matt Busby.

So I suppose if you felt the guilt of 96 lives lost and felt you had to go to as many of their funerals as you possibly could you wouldn't be affected by it at all? He said that his decision to quit came in the match 2 days before the press conference - It was late on in the match and he knew what subs needed to be made, but he just couldn't bring himself to make them. He knew then that his time was up and he needed to quit for the good of Liverpool. We know now he really only needed a year or 2 out.

As for your Giggs' comment - utter ****. Both are professionals, Gerrard didn't get a 16 year old pregnant, the little boy ran into the side of Gerrard's car (hardly running him over is it...) and he was acquitted of beating up a DJ (you also don't know the circumstances). They've both had good careers and any fan of the game would find it hard to compare the qualities of the 2. As for Dalglish, Rush, Keegan, Barnes and Fowler not coming close - that's delusion at it's finest.

Personally, I refuse to call AF a sir, not because of Man Utd but because I feel he hasn't really done anything to deserve it. Dalglish has raised a hell of a lot of money for his cancer charity, not to mention attending all of the funerals he can for the 96 and memorial services. If AF got his for services for football, then surely Dalglish should get the same.

    Morning ZL,

If you read the thread I suspect the response you are quoting was due to a evening of KPR shouting ****.

He was basically arguing with himself about Kenny's playing career - not one United fan questioned it however KPR went on and on about it like we UNited fans had put it down.

He was attributing quotes to posters that they never made... he mentioned Giggs then tried claiming it was me ??

As for the personal lives ie Garrard, Giggs etc. I don't think you need to defend them as this is a football forum not heat magazine forum so we should leave to gossip to the girls.

The reason for the Giggs part is basically as KPR slagged Best of for not winning as much as Kenny ( therefore by KPR's logic Best must be **** ) hence why Giggs medals were brought into the post you are quoting.

I dont think Kenny is a bottler , I think he did what he did for the good of the club and as you say the whole Hillsborough think probably aged him considerably.

KPR has slagged George Best off for wasting livers etc on the thread. I think this is pathetic. Talking ill of the dead is out of order really on a football forum.

    Anyway. Good morning . Again

In all honest truth I was responding to KPR's attempts to degrade anything United. I thought I would have a go of it too, you know considering he is a mod..

I think I have a point with Dalglish though because although he went through hell after what happened, I would have thought the best thing would be to carry on. For the people of Liverpool if not for himself. I think it could have helped him get through it a lot better if he carried on and stood side by side with the fans and the club. Matt Busby saw his lads die. His own team of young lads he built himself, died around him. But he stayed because he knew Manchester United had to get through it together. Now that is a man deserving of a knighthood.

You say Dalglish deserves a knighthood for raising money for his charity but I think nearly everybody in football works for charity nowadays. I also think another man in Dalglish's shoes would have done the same regarding the funerals and memorial services

    Morning :)

That's alright, I just saw the post from MUFCOK and thought I should respond. I haven't followed this thread since Page 1, I knew what it'd descend into straight away <laugh>.

Best's career was brilliant and we should all applaud him for his footballing career, same with legends of both clubs. I respect them all, now I just hope we can both find players of the same calibre that exist today.
